UPCOMING EVENT

Serving Social

In 1 Peter 4, the Apostle Peter teaches that every follower of Jesus has been given gifts by God to build up the church and glorify Christ. Whether it’s welcoming, teaching, music, setup, or behind-the-scenes support, every single one of us can be equipped for the joy of serving others.

On Sunday, September 27th, head down to the Landing after each service for a short serving social. This is a chance to explore the many opportunities to join a serving team at Citylight, including some new teams that are being formed right now!

Come enjoy fellowship, meet ministry leaders, and take a next step in using your gifts for God’s glory and the good of others. You can RSVP at the link below.

The Gospel of Luke: God's Promise Fulfilled

Sermon artwork

The Gospel of Luke is about the surprising fulfillment of the plan of God, first revealed in the Old Testament, in the Lord Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God and Son of David, who, through his sufferings on the cross and glorious resurrection from the dead, brings salvation to all, both Jew and Gentile, who repent and receive forgiveness of sins in his name, as the good news is proclaimed to all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit, and communities of faith are formed which reflect Jesus’s example and his teachings.
