DAY OF SERVICE
Citylight’s annual Day of Service is an opportunity to share the light of Christ with our community as we prepare to celebrate his resurrection. Held on April 4, 2026 and with projects located across Northwest Philadelphia and Montgomery county, it is a day to be the hands and feet of Jesus in the neighborhoods we love.

The Gospel of Luke: God's Promise Fulfilled
The Gospel of Luke is about the surprising fulfillment of the plan of God, first revealed in the Old Testament, in the Lord Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God and Son of David, who, through his sufferings on the cross and glorious resurrection from the dead, brings salvation to all, both Jew and Gentile, who repent and receive forgiveness of sins in his name, as the good news is proclaimed to all nations by the power of the Holy Spirit, and communities of faith are formed which reflect Jesus’s example and his teachings.
Citylight exists to make disciples of Jesus to the glory of God.
