The Book of Jonah has been a children’s Sunday school staple for generations. Far from being childish, Jonah is an epic story about God’s relentless, merciful pursuit of rebels like us. The story stars a running prophet, a wicked city, a giant fish and the Great Savior Jonah points us toward. As Citylight Church enters a new season of bringing Jesus’ grace to Philadelphia through multiple services and new Citygroups, the Book of Jonah unfolds for us the hope behind our mission: Our relentlessly merciful, missionary God!
