Lent 2013
In the early Christian Church, Lent was a season of intense preparation for the catechumens, or new converts, as they journeyed toward their baptism on Easter Sunday. By about 325 AD, the whole of the Christian Church observed lent as a season of preparation and fasting for the celebration and feasting of Easter. During Lent 2013, Citylight will spend the Sundays of Lent meditating on the cross together as we prepare to celebrate the resurrection at Easter!
